I am a Laker fan and am not happy about this. Pau was so key to the success. And if the Lakeshow get Howard it will be a three man team with no help whatsoever since they will likely have to give up Bynum+?(possible Metta WorldPeace). Then people like Luke Walton and Matt Barnes will see more of the court which always has a bad outcome./rant

haha I guess I think they're wrong.
If the Knicks could trade Amare or Carmello for a good all around player and pick up a center(likely to be Chandler) I think they'd have a shot. With all that being said I think they are so happy they picked up both those players that they probably won't let either go... I don't know why I'm calling all these players by first name

For sure. If Booze and Noah both stay healthy they will learn how to cooperate better. The problem was they spent almost no time together on the court until the postseason last year thanks to injuries. That plus Boozer producing in the playoffs = a dangerous team. They are just still kinda hurting at shooting guard. We either have a dude who shoots well but cant defend, or defends well but cant shoot. We need a middle ground haha. It would just be nice to have another scoring threat so that on D-Roses tired days we still had production.

heat are taking it this year. like a couple years ago there was alot of talk about bellevue (where i live) or seattle washington getting the hornets and cp3 was buying a house here. that rumor has faded now though.

good for chris paul. he deserves to play for a team where he doesn't need to do anything. looks like the lakers are going to have arguably the best backcourt in the nba. let's see how their big men do. they don't really have anyone behind bynum besides odom, who's really just a big small forward

You're joking right? Without out him they won't have a guy that can play shutdown D other than Kobe. And as I mentioned before Matt Barnes and Luke Walton who back Metta up are both terrible.
If only they could get the Gasol brothers together in LA, that would be great IMO. No chance since Marc is a restricted FA
