i have retainers that i only have to wear at night and every night its the same thing. brush teeth, clean retainers, put in retainers. then in the morning i take them out when i get into the shower. so the other day i woke up in the morning and went into the bathroom to shower and i reach into my mouth and im like fuck where are my retainers? so i go back into my room and search around my pillow and where my head was cause i thought maybe they fell out of my mouh while sleeping. i ended up finding the top retainer at the left side of the bottom of my bed, and the bottom retainer at the right side of the bottom of my bed. there is no way they could have fell out of my mouth and moved 6 feet to the other end of the bed. i have never had problems with sleepwalking or anything either, so i have no explanation for how this happened. scary.
i have also found random papers on my bedside table that i do not remember being in my room the previous night when i went to bed or if they were in my room they were on my desk, which is a good 10 feet away from my bedside table

Damn this shit happens to me sometimes. My house was an 1800's plantation. Sometimes when I'm in our basement (we have a stone cellar that is original as well) at night I hear shit from the cellar. In my room too, it backs up to the attic stairs and sometimes at night I hear shit creaking around. Once I saw a shadow in my bathroom (I have one in my room) and then it just dissipated. Single scariest moment of my life.. Pics soon

I personally don't belive in ghosts. I think you may just be paranoid or have some sort of seperation anxiety running in the family. I'm with eheath on this one. And for all believers you may also want to check under your bed. I hear that's where montsers hide. I've seen all those ghost hunters on TV and everything that happens is blown out of proportions. Footsteps may very well be air duct sheet metal bending. Shadows created by cars going past. White figures about 5 feet tall could be dumont-dumount. Can't remember how to spell his name. That's just my opinion

So as many know, the activity in my house almost completely dropped off for quite a few months. Until today....
I came home last night from a week long vacation at my lake house in VT. Simultaneously my dad left on a business trip. So I'm home alone (my brother stayed in VT for another week).So last night I got my first set of chills since almost last year. I was walking by my front door when it happened. Then again. And again. I walked past that door a total for 4 times that night and every time I got chills. But I was kinda used to that so I didn't think anything of it.
Well today I was in my kitchen cleaning my dishes. I look to my left into the opening of my living room. Out of no where appears this orange light, the size of a gold ball. It floats slowly to the right and slightly up in an erratic pattern then just disappears from view.I stood there for a minute staring into the space, wondering if it were some weird reflection of headlights or a bug or something. I assume it wasn't headlights since its 2pm on a cloudy day and the chance of a bug being confused with a glowing orange light are slim to none. Needless to say Im gonna bounce for a little while and head to mcdicks. This literally just happened 5 minutes ago.
