Well, we can create things which are tied to user status. THe pink names are a flag in the database, and we could set up forums or cults or whatever that are tied to that "girl" flag.

We'd then have to police the fuck out of the aliases pretending to be girls.

My thoughts are that there is a lot of rad female personalities and talent out there, but sometimes the "I'd hit it" comments get a little old. If I was a chick, I'd laugh at that but secretly be not as enthused to participate.

I have like a 15% formed thought here, but it struck me and I let it pour out.

well you could get by most aliases by making it only accessible to female members who have been a member for over say 3 months or 100 posts. that'd probably cut out 90% of them anyways.

What about ditching the pink names?

If you look at most of the gals who have been on here for a while, many have switched to a blue name.

If you do make a new section, it would exclude the womenz who got the blue names.

It is an interesting idea however I dont' feel like it is needed. As has been said before there is the PMS cult which kind of serves a similar purpose to what you seem to be proposing. It would have to be super heavily moderated as there are quite a few pink names even already that are just alias' and as with the pink names cult a lot of guys will try and get into it.

Plus it would serve to further create a divide between the men and women of this site as girls would be less likely to contribute to the original content, rather contributing to the female only content.

i think a what's happening in women's skiing section could be really interesting(who's injured, who's doing what, winning what, competing where, videos, articles, etc). there's definitely a demand, and there's nothing wrong with sexes co-existing, but it would def be cool if there were more female oriented stuff. in snowboardng there's already girls only videos and etc, and i wish to see that from skiers. i personally like it and would find it relevant to my interests. providing of course, that there's enough news in it, and someone to supply it.

as for girls only, we have a cult, and don't just let anybody in. we don't really need a girls only forum either, we have all the other forums. we could easily use ski gabber(etc) to discuss current events just as easily as other things, and would actually like to encourage men to be involved as well in female skiing.
