I'll admit... for a while there I wasn't posting too much... because I was getting all kinds of Newschoolers work done. Now that I'm back my life is a constant black hole of newschoolers.

I think the hardest part about working at Newschoolers is getting work done.

at least your work is related to newschoolers, so theoretically you're doing your job if newschoolers is working well enough to keep you distracted.

The funny thing is that most of the work doesn't have to do with posting. Sure sometimes posting is super necessary to communicate, but I have emails pouring in all day every day that keep going unanswered.

That is what is funny... you guys have a 6 page paper due, I have 200 emails I need to follow up on.

the absolute worst thing is when you're doing a project that requires a computer (typing an essay, internet research, whatever it be) and every 2 god damn seconds my finger fucks the shit out of the NS page with the mouse

i while back i was thinking that ns should have something like call of duty, where you can see the amount of time you have spent online. then i thought ehh, maybe i wouldn't really want to see that number. i don't regret anything though

been here for 7.5 years, off and on. my prime sort of culminating with the events around ottawa that brought lots of contributors and mods together (hosting ns radio with lanks and nopoles is still one of the highlights of my time spent with the freeskiing community).

all in all, i think it's just nice to have something in common with people. whether we heckle each other, mouth off, cause controversy, we're still connected and that's what keeps this dysfunctional family from imploding.
