Abortion is wrong. If it's birth control they're looking for, they should try the pill. Also, making U.S citizens pay for the murdering of children is wrong.
I don't think anyone is actually "pro abortion." It's a shitty choice to have to make but yes I am pro choice. 1. You have no place limiting other peoples liberties if they don't affect your wellbeing.
2. Brain development during the *abortion window* is tiny
3. Religion should never dictate rights in any society, and when it does it is usually in a restrictive manner.
Then why are my tax dollars going towards the world-police efforts of the U.S. Military overseas, which inevitably ends up killing men women and children...
Not a single dollar of mine has gone towards an abortion. Many dollars of mine have gone towards bombs.
I'm pro choice but don't really care either way at this point but what really pisses me off is when Christians think it should be illegal and the only backing they can give is that it's against their religion. Bitch this is America founded on religious freedom laws cant be made on your religion.
"in god we trust" unfortunately. Could you imagine being a parent and your kids teacher is trying to teach intelligent design along side evolution. This country is fucked in a lot of ways. Great country, but twacked.
to me its not about being pro choice, its being pro: not fucking everyones life up. Sometimes an accidental birth happens when the parrents arnt ready to raise a child. as in, they are irresponsible and/or broke as fuck. the parrents will go no where in life since they have to work for their family to survive. The kid will be raised by parrents who wernt ready, he might have loose morals and probably a miserable life, cant get dental, health benifits, cool stuff.
That's what adoption is for. Just because you are broke or aren't ready to raise a child does not automatically mean you should get an abortion. Not hating, I just don't really agree with your wording. I understand what you're getting at though.
I don't think he was implying that adoption isn't a possibility... its just that abortion (within the first 3 or 4 months of pregnancy) is a perfectly legitimate option.
I'm not going to preach my beliefs however I just thoroughly disagree with that. But, I do realize it is up to each person and I have to respect their decision.
pro-choice. I respect that people are pro-life and whatnot, but the thing i can't respect is pro-life people shoving their beliefs down my throat. I can't respect someone who consciously makes the decision to keep have and keep a baby at an extremely young age and leave the responsibility of child-rearing to their parents or grandparents, and without their parents/grandparents would not remotely be able to take care of that child.
I'd really rather not get into it. I have my own reasons for being pro-life and while I don't agree with people who are pro-choice or people who have abortions, I still respect their opinion. It's a personal issue and therefore each person can believe what they want.
Well no one ever "needs" to have an abortion, they have a choice no matter the situation. Even if that situation means that it will cause them to die, they still have a choice to save the child. It's such a touchy subject and I would never ever force my beliefs on anyone, which is really why I hate getting into it.
It seems most of the current abortion debates are over deciding when the fetus is considered to be a life of its own. My personal thought on that is if it can't survive on its own at all, even with life support, it's not a life. That probably accounts for the first 3-4 months of pregnancy.
I just believe life starts at conception, there is nothing wrong with that, it's just what I believe. I don't argue with people about it and I fucking hate that I keep posting because I'm really not trying to get into this. Agh, sorry :(
What do you not understand? To have an unplanned baby because you don't want to kill it is a perfectly acceptable choice. Hence it fits into the Pro-CHOICE belief. Pro-Life takes that choice and forces it on everyone whether or not they shares your views. YOU can personally believe that killing a fetus is wrong and still be Pro-Choice.
