i actually only use the white kind. its the only type that keeps me dry. the clear gel/roll on stuff doesn't work and leaves my armpits all wet after i apply it. yuck.
the key is to put your shirt for the day on first, then put your deodorant on. if you change your shirt a lot for some reason thoughout the day, wear lighter colors rather than darker colors.
