12$ per person if you have 250 people. Their would be about 20 more booters on this hill then there were before our crowd left.

True, that's only a little over $10 bucks a lift ticket.

But, it would be sick it there was an NS day there. It would be crazy. I wish I could be there if it did happen.

Doesn't seem like it to me. at $12 per person being the very minimum they can make (they'd probably make MUCH more per person, I can see groups of 30 or so being fairly common), it seems like a pretty good deal imo

An NS day would be so sick! It would be cool to get a bunch of manufacturers together and make it a special demo day just for NS. Maybe even add some music in there ... have a different DJ playing at several parts of the mountain. Maybe a scavenger hunt for beer! This needs to be organized. I'll fly out there for some epic event.

I would def be down sounds like an awesome time.

As far as the business side is concerned do you think these mtns would bring in more then 3000-4600 on a tuesday? this is guaranteed cash at the beginning of the season when they need it most.

I'm not sure they would be losing money, the idea must be that this tops what they can normally expect on mid week days. Or they're just really bad businessmen.

Well they probably don't sell $3000 in tickets during a normal weekday. 250 is probably the max capacity of the lifts without there being lines. Therefore, you get more people on the mountain and you are maximizing the efficiency of the lifts. It's not costing them any more to have 250 than it is to have 30.

Saw that yesterday. Interesting deal. Whaleback is $3000 for a maximum of 200 people which. Even if only $100 people commit, that's only $30/person.

I know Magic in So. VT tweeted that they were offering group mountain rentals midweek as well, but they did not reveal any pricing, and without a park, they are not on most NSers radar.

haha Plattekill is my home mountain. It would only be worth it if they got dumped on the night before, which isn't likely.
