Halloween is cancelled

They've pretty much officially cancelled halloween in my humble town of Kent, CT due to the entire town being out of power. They might have everybody come to the firehouse where there's lights and what not, but it's not likely. I think it's bullshit because the utter darkness would be perfect for scaring the shit out of little kids, which is what halloween is all about!

vampires are going to descend on your town, isolating you from the outside world. the government will then quarantine your "humble town of Kent, CT" leaving you to fend for yourselves

dude. i spent six hours + chainsawing my way out of my driveway this morning. still no power. had to go to relatives house. on the way out there was power lines down every few hundred feet. i live in canton. and sundown had a rail jam yesterday but i was too busy seshing at my house so i didn't hear about it:(
