Final Cut Pro Question

Ok, this might sound really stupid, but do you have to import using a firewire, or can you use USB? I plugged man camera in with USB and for the life of me I couldnt figure out how to get the footage on my computer.

u have to use firewire if i remember correctly, ur better off using it anyways.

Thanks man. My mac is idiot proof. I'm just not in possesion of a Firewire for my camera right now, and I was hoping a USB would work.

You have to use Firewire. USB is for pictures and stuff off the memory card, anyways USB doesn't have the ability to transfer data as large as video quickly enough. If yo ucould you would get lots of lossed frames because they data transfer speed isnt fatsenough.
