actually this guy wins. fucking DFA is so amazing. I haven't heard of any other band that can start riots in 2011. JBiebs excluded, as pre-teen riots are a given, thus don't count.

GWAR for sure. One of the most intense, funniest live shows anywhere. Not to mention that they killed Sarah Palin, Barack Obama, Michael Jackson, and Lady Gaga when I saw them

I kind of want to see them at some point.



Had the chance to see them at northern lights in like 06 but the kid at the mountain gave me a shitty description. Something about wearing weird costumes and bringing out a dick and jerking it off and semen and blood fly all over the crowd and everybody wears a white tshirt and you get blood in your eyes and stuff.




I was like, um no thanks. I've seen pictures and videos and it looks amusing. Would be fun to go once.

Well, he wasn't wrong. The singer does have a big fake dick, he jizzes all over the front of the crowd, and you get sprayed with stage blood for pretty much the whole show.


My shirt was indeed white at the start of the show

gonna go w/ miike snow, absolutely insane live, all their shit to a tee

then there's cut copy, wu lyf, and crystal castles, all of which were good

best festival identity this past summer. saw holy ghost!, herc and love affair (so good live), crystal method, and kaskade for only 40$

okay,    last night i saw GROUPLOVE and it was so amazing.
i havent decided if it was better than The Bouncing Souls,   but it was fucking ecstasy.   

the guitarist played a solo from in the crowd and i was 2 feet from him going crazy. 
then afterwards the bassist was hanging in the bar and i was talking to him,   then he picked up these 2 hotties and i didnt see them for the rest of the night.

im giddy

Tool would be amazing. Rage Against the Machine is also on my "to see list".

Best shows i have been to are Queens of the Stone Age, Protest the Hero, and Between the buried and me with TessarcT and Animals as Leaders. Oh, and the Avett Brothers were sick too. And mastodon/Opeth. There are a lot.

I just saw M83 perform at the House of Blues in Boston the other night. It was definitely my favorite show I have ever been to. The lights and visuals mixed with the outrageously loud and incredibly god-like tunage complemented by an array of various substances running through my body made it an unforgettable night.

I break horses opened for them and put on a good show too!

Sorry for the dub-post.....but this completely fucked with my head when M83 came out. I'm not sure if anthony was wearing this get-up or what, but needless to say when it stood on top of a huge speaker and outstretched its arms and looked straight at me....i fucking lost it. haha

shit i really don't know... i love most of the concerts i go to.

Eminem/Jay-Z was a once in a lifetime thing and it was crazy to stand on the Comerica Park field

but

ASAP Rocky was so turnt up

but

Sum 41 was crazy and mad fun

the list goes on.

Hard to pick one out of either but heavy pets and moe. tour this spring were a lot of fun. Raged with some great people in a bunch of cities including toronto. Raged with an nser at a show on each tour. Great way to get my spring going and kill 1a month or so.

Can't wait for summer fest season! summercamp>waka almost here

I have a chance to go see thrice at the end of may. The reason i want to go is for the opening band actually (Animals as Leaders), but I assume they are a very good live band then? Aren't they more hard rock than punk though?
