JIberish Winter Drop #1

To kick off the season we will be offering the first shipment of Winter goods online starting on Saturday October 22nd at ABSTRACTmall.com. Due to the size of the range we split the Winter drop into 2 dates. The first drop will include some of our hooded sweatshirts, crewnecks, tees, and some jackets. These items will also start to arrive at official Jiberish retailers in North America, Europe, and Asia in late October/early November. The full collection of drop 1 can be viewable at www.ABSTRACTmall.com on Thursday October 20th, 2 days prior to the online release.

Products from drop 1 will be available at Jiberish LoHi, at Jiberish Vault, and at www.jiberish.com starting on November 5th. Stay tuned for more information on drop 2 in the coming weeks.

I think the level 1 collars have reached their limit. I like the new crewneck, actually, but the level 1 pieces. ever really look new or creative. there is only so much they can do with it....

if the crews had a level 1 STITCHED instead of just screen printed they'd be 1000 times more awesome. i do like the leather patch though, hopefully it's real leather and not that imitation shit from the chambreezys.

and i agree with balto on the windbreakers, nice work rehashing an old design...

I like the simplicity of the Level 1 crews. But I could easily get crew that looks just like it minus the Level 1 screen print for like $40-50. I mean come on! Does it really cost that much to screen print?

Sorry but aesthetically Jiberish is appalling and I can't imagine what the functionality might be like. Let's hope Saga can renew our hopes for quality wear this coming winter that actually looks good (and is half the price).

Sorry for beating a dead horse. I'm just trying to give my opinion on why I wont be purchasing the crew. I believe many of their pieces are worth the price point, just not these.

i love saga, i've been happy w/ everything i've bought from them, but the quality of their sweatshirts vs jiberish are not the same and the prices reflect it

lets say you go to any boutique clothing store for a flannel
-they're usually priced between 120-175, the quality is top-notch, the fit is perfect, they have details

you go to j crew for a flannel
-usually priced around 60-80, the quality is very good but no where near the boutique quality

you go to eddie bauer for a flannel
-usually priced 45-60, the quality is very good, more rugged and not as refined as j crew

you go to target for a flannel
-usually priced 25-30, the quality is low and it shows in the buttons, fit, and overall fabric, it lays weird as well


so get over it, i wouldn't spend $90 on a patterned up sweatshirt b/c i won't wear it in 10 years, let alone 1 or 2. i will spend $80+ on a flannel b/c i will wear it in 10 years and it'll also last that long as well.

It would be nice if they could release a lookbook of everything before all the drops so i would have to guess on which drops i want to spend my money on. Do i want to spend it on the first and then regret not waiting till the second, or wait till the second and then be pissed i missed the first.

All you people going on about 'quality', you guys are a perfect example of cognitive dissonance; you have no way to justify the copius amounts you spend on jiberish so you claim that it possesses some godlike quality. Get real, you buy it cause its trendy, fits good, and limited. Jiberish is not amazing quality, we have some serious group polarization going on..

It's just clothing that hipsters think is cool. I can buy 99% of what Supreme and brands like that make at the mall, with the same quality and a lower price.

Well, judging by what Jiberish and Supreme and other brands release, it seems to be mostly flannels, button-down shirts, sweatshirts, and wool jackets, with a few stupid ass things like fake varsity jackets and "coaches jackets", yet somehow it's called "streetwear" so it sounds cooler...or something. It's all just clothes. Shit like this has been around forever.

I know what I'm saying is ridiculous, but only because what you are saying is too. You thinking streetwear is just clothes, in other words saying all clothes are the same, just reinforces the point that people are making that you know nothing about streetwear.

The first time you ever see someone or pass by someone on the street, in school, work, wherever, what is the first thing you judge them on? LOOKS, you know nothing about them and that is all you have to judge them on and if you say you never judge people on looks then you are not human. I'm not saying it is good or bad, just human nature.

Wouldn't you rather look good when people see you than be wearing a walmart hoody and nylon pants that make that swishing sound when you walk? Now, you may just not like the style of current "streetwear" but much of society thinks that it is good looking clothing and because of that they will think of you differently if you are wearing it and that, in my opinion, is why people spend so much more money on it besides the fact that it actually does have better quality, better customer service, more thoughtful designs and cuts, etc. even if you disagree with that fact.

I wear nicer, better looking clothes when I go out than any fool wearing "streetwear" brands (how you people think a flannel and skinny jeans is classy is beyond me), but on that note, I'm done with this thread until the new Jiberish drops. It was fun talking to you guys!

same. in the sample I saw before, the leather patch was over the left chest and that made it a lil more appealing than it currently is. either way though I see a solid crewneck with basic colors and an awkward sleeve print.

glad I have my 3way stripe crew to rep level 1 with.

not really long words. all im saying is that i buy jiberish, but not because it has amazing quality. I mean even their t shirts have mega flaws such as sewn on tags. after a few washed there is a big square or circle imprint on the shirt behind the neck where the tag is.

it really isn't that amazing of quality...

as for the whole question, its just kinda lame when someone asks a question and instead of typing two words to answer it, they go out of their way to make a point to that person to read.

anyways, im not going to argue with the newschoolers bandwagon here haha.
