I just wanted to send out a tip on raising Karma... for those of you who are interested.

RATE STUFF.

RATE IT FOR WHAT IT DESERVES.

We will never, ever release the Karma calculation, because its a secret. I can tell you that it is designed to basically measure what we feel is a "good NSer".

One thing though that has a high contribution, is to go and rate things, and rate them for what you think.

If you've got a spare few minutes and you're looking for something to do, scour though the latest added pictures and videos and toss out a few ratings. Super easy way to score a few extra points.

this so much. also the rating pros and pinknames really high just because their pros and girls is getting kinda old. I don't care that much but it is kinda funny.

We have protections built in to subtract karma if you rate stuff with bogus ratings en masse.

I've be an avid and active member on NS since far before the karma program was orientated and I have never once taken a close look at it until today. It's quite the system! I have some number of karma points (the big number has no meaning to me) but then i see i have 4.8 out of ten. How does that relate to my points? And why am I so low?! :( branching out from that point, why do I care?!
