Yeah that's the whole idea behind MyMedia. That is why the system is so complex, because there is an immense amount of media management that becomes necessary as soon as you realize the channel structure.
So far the channel management and channel browsing stuff isn't perfect, which is why we haven't fully released it / talked about it. If you want to try making a channel you can.
1) Open MyMedia
2) Click "View All Videos"
3) Upload all the videos you want by clicking the little film strip with an upwards arrow in the top left. Concurrently you will also be able to use the desktop upload app (still in finishing stages)
4) Under "Video Channels" Create a picture gallery that you want to show.
5) When you have uploaded and tagged all of your videos, they will display in your MyMedia. If you wish you can select "Unpublished Only" to see only the media items which are raw.
6) Select and drag any items you want into the Channel on the right, a conformation of how many items you added will briefly appear as a small number.
7) Click on your Channel, to bring up the Channel in MyMedia view
8) Click the icon in navigation at the top which looks like a 4-way arrow (on right of the icons, just to the left of search)
9) Use this tool to re-order items in the gallery as you wish them to display.
Done!
Now, we don't have any solid linking to the channels, because they are simply not ready for primetime. In the future it will be a lot easier to find the ones you've created, and check out others.
For now, to find your gallery you have to go NSTV view (
https://newschoolers.com/nstv)
Then click "Channels"
Scroll down until you see "member Channels" and click that
Search for your new channel
Click on your new channel.
Blammo.

Again - don't fret at how clunky this experience seems. This is what we're still working on, and the reason that this has not been more publicized. Its confusing as all hell, but will be smooth once we finish a few more elements.
Give it a go, and link to a channel in here so we can see if it works.
