What car are you aspiring to be able to afford? Either in the future or immediate future. Realistically, so no Lambo's.... unless your Jon Olsson.

For me, I would love a 1989 Jaguar XJS. My friends dad has one and its pretty swanky. Would be nice/amazing to have this before I'm 25...

looks a lot like it, but hoodrichs is far lower if i remember correctly. had that car on my background forever. also, those are bbs lm's, hood rich as ccw's im pretty sure

can get a used one for quite cheap actually. quite cheap being £50,000 so about $79,000

On most of these cars it would be the insurance that makes it incredibly expensive though. I drive a 1.2 litre renault clio, which goes about 100mph when pushed and my insurance is £500 a year, so cant imagine what an R8 or Subaru would be

I love the day dreaming in this thread...

I test drove an Aston Martin V8 Vantage S the other week and loved it... it was a manual, which i miss...

Currently debating whether to keep my C63 (Performance Pack) or get the New C63 Coupe Edition 1 (only 100 being released in the USA) available pretty much now, or the C63 Coupe Black Series (i have an option to buy ...er option available to me for $3000 - and i'd be circa 3rd on the list in the states for ordering early next year for a summer delivery) or of course buying the AMV8S....

I love the C63 because i can use it daily.... although i have gone through my rear tires (from new) in 6000 miles..... but for me in this thread it is the AMV8S - the V12 Vantage is just a bit too much $$ right now.

Fucking cars- they are my smack..... my total weakness in life.....

You'll get there Cam dude - sooner than you think too - just get through Uni, work hard and keep your mind open to good opportunities. When i was younger i would get just as excited about a new 500 quid shit box as a new super car or something - only now am i starting to live the dream (and i think moving to the states helped with that - cars are much more accessible here - nice ones i mean because petrol is dirt cheap, and insurance is cheap too - I couldn't own my car in the UK! ha)

R8's are nice - a few friends have them - i like them because you can use them everyday. Couple at work. I'd love the V10 though..... Lambo's are fucking stupid - they're just Audi's - but they charge you a crazy amount for service costs. In a gallardo, you need to replace the clutch every 8k miles... that'll cost you the best part of 10 grand... it's all Audi! Piss take... an R8 is really pretty reasonable to run.

The thing i loved about the Aston was the quality, and the craftsmanship - everything inside is hand stitched leather, and you choose everything, down to the type and color of the stitching!

true story, one sold on ebay not too long ago for like 52k with 30000 miles or something pretty low like that, it was a messup cause the dealer forgot to put a reserve but it was only like 5k less than what they were aiming for. Good deals aren't impossible to find

bro...America invented the truck. Every person in good ole us of a should own atleast one suv or truck. Pretty practical as well...theres no way a subaru wagon can compare to a jeep or a 4 runner or whatever in terms of all weather ability, and space

I'm really good at saving my money... And with my new IT job I could probably afford the monthly payments on a BMW X6 M... Of course I wouldn't be able to buy anything else lol and would probably have to live out of it... But I could probably swing it if someone put a gun to my head and said I had to.

If you get one, you HAVE to get it done in Matte Black, I think it was an X6 i saw done like that and it looks so good. No idea how expensive it is to get that done, probably quite alot i assume!
