You commit, therefore it failed. Pop harder off the lip/knuckle and commit hard to the flip (think of throwing a beach ball REALLY hard), then tuck, the flip will come around, then stomp it.
1) don't use a roll over for your first fronts. Something that pops you UP is far more helpful, especially when you are still novice at the shit.
2) you need to pop. You just rolled over your tips.
3) You need to set that shit HARD. Consider how much air time you will have (see #1, this roll over has little) because you need to bring more than 360ยบ of rotation around.
also try and control here you're flipping from. i don't know how to explain this, I guess your point of rotation? it helps a lot when you have a correct one, which i guess is debatable as to where that is, but there's certainly a few goods ones.
also stagger your skis a little so you can throw one ski back and then pop with the other for a real quick rotation. then tuck like a mother fuck till your rotated. then you just have to open up and stomp.
I learned front before another flip and the way I do it is pop off flat and on lips dont pop just roll on your tips and pretend that your walking forward and falling over at the same time, I know it sounds confusing the way I typed it, but if you get an idea about what I'm talking about then maybe it can help
