This year, for an engineering program I'm in, I need to basically invent or innovate something that helps make a something into less of a nuisance and I'm turning to NS for a little inspiration so my idea is better than my hot girl partner's idea. I'm not asking to steal your secret invention ideas, just your life experiences. All you need to do is fill in the blank... "Don't you hate it when ___________..."

If you want to share an idea of some terrific epiphany you had while high the other day, go for it. I make your dreams a reality :D



Past years have included a foot-pump to get your McDonnalds katchup so you don't have to touch those gross pumps or auto sterilizing pads for while you're at the gym. Creativity is key, I have a whole school year to design and all the resources you can think of.

She wants to do a thumb print scanning pad lock. I don't know how we could get that down to a reasonable size though. No forgetting combinations though... Her other thought was an alarm for if your dog were to escape through their electric fence so you know when they get through and aren't long gone before you find out.



Hey 1337. I didn't think this was spam? I don't recall a thread like this with an actual meaning ever being made? This is the first time I ask for a little help on here and it isn't begging for someone to like my picture, relax man.

I had a great idea on how to stop toilets from overflowing by putting a small buoy on a lever tucked away inside the toilet bowl. If the buoy moves due to overly high water, it would activate a valve in the water line just before it hooks into the back of your toilet.

Very good idea that has potential. It would be hard to create something that would work with every keyboard though.

Kerry, my only thought would be a very thin edible elastic band like thing or clip that could stop goodies from falling out the bottom and help keep the wrap all wrapped up.

OP, please make a freeze ray or a microwave that makes stuff cold. Although, short of spraying stuff with liquid nitrogen i can't think of any way to make stuff cooler.

hence why i no longer share with most of my friends. its always the ones that dont smoke and are doing it to be cool. whats even more annoying is when they spend all night acting high and blaming stuff on it when they are completly sober because of not knowing how to breath in.
