Watched 7 hour of lecture, took two quizzes, went out to dinner with my boyfriend and his dad, played with the dog and made a grilled ham and cheese sandwich in the microwave
Tore down and moved my ramp 2 days ago. Skated for 7 or 8 hours last night and learned a couple of tricks and got less shitty at riding the bowl.
Today hiked with my guitar so I could drink beers in the sun and play music. Inky person ai saw all day was a ranger that stopped by to check for illegal camping/fires. He was chill. Glad dumb tourists cames though. Luckiky this ridge doesn't have parking really and although everything is kinds on the map these days it's not really on the map.
Felt good to give my megs two solid workouts. Now that I'm rampless I might go hike it more. And try and skate this abandoned pool more often.
Sent in my shit to renew my license and did my taxes.
Maybe not crazy but for me that's huge. Im really bad at this shit and it give me horrible anxiety. Pretty stoked on getting it done and loosely holding my life together lol.
Made some gold today! It was a long process, but it payed off. I spent 3 months collecting gold bearing rocks, built a rock crusher in a couple days, 3 weeks crushing rocks and panning out the pyrite, built a mini fine sluice box and 2 days sluicing it and retrieved a few grams of gold. Still have enough rocks and pyrite to keep me busy for 3 months while working on the ship, on my off time. The last step is to find a way to smelt it so I can start making jewlery.
Currently in the process of moving so I did a lot of shuttling random boxes that were in my garage and brought them across town to the new place. Even checked out how the new paint and floors are coming along too, as well as gather ideas for revamping the backyard and making it not look like it was owned by a family with little kids. Before all that though, I’m still figuring out where to put all of my ski stuff and find some room to build a tuning table.
After that I spent all evening trying to clean out my room and throw out useless shit that I don’t need. Stumbled upon a lot of old gems from my childhood and old season passes that I completely forgot about, too.
It’s a lot so far but I’m working a lot between now and this upcoming Friday so I’m doing what I can now and not have to keep stressing about it for the next week.
Was having a kinda bad day, long work shift. Built new park featyres, tried to test them but snow was a lil grippy and board wasn't waxed and stuck hard. Ended up dipping and this lady approached me. Her car was stuck near my trailer.
She was asking where to get help was like yo youre gonna be here a while. Let me go grab a shovel. Was low clearance and super compacted underneath but not quite high centered.
I dug out as good as i could, got her to let me drive it(brand new bmw) couldnt break out. Got the wheels even better inside, then farmed some branches and got them under the wheels.
Got a little traction, broke her out and back onto the road. Ahe was stoked. Hinestly sure i wprk3d all night and gotta go to sleep in a min to work tonight but she was gonna have a real shitty day if she was stuck there for a long time or had to call a tow. I woukd uave told her if it was too fucjed to drive out or me to try and pull. In the end a half hour of manual labor and being good at driving in snow saved her from a shitty day.
Honestly pretty shot now but hoping she has a better second half to the day.
reviewing material for an airway skills and patient assessment test and an exam next monday, and then doing AAI L1 modules for a class this weekend l8r + keeping tabs on the weather
Always going full extra trying to fix things when I can. Sucked it snowed a few inches on it but rebuilt all the small park jumps and made the drop in less intimidating.
Also groomed the main jumplines out solid, and rebuilt a few features in our flow line and built 3 new features or so. Rebuilt some other features. Everyone was into it except for some douche patroller.
Made it out to be a safety thing. Yo dawg i get safety. Fucking road had 90 degree merge directly into park traffic right at features and right after higher speed feature. No issues. No 90 degree bend nothing. Just sending you straight in yolo style. Dude was into it. Approved af and the setup since we opened that park.
I added some feature that were pretty fun but made the last 2 a left bowl corner with a dub hip, second into a boob lander and then a qp to the right i was gonna build taller. Said merge that was sketchy now has a ropeline that turns you 90 just over a cat pass wide and drops you off with the falline. I even fucking graded it. And the feature there above it sends you to the right.(away from merging trail and separated by a cat pass deck, gravity, and a rope line)
Massively safer. I mean honestly only park kids take that road and its like a couple an hour but just if it was a real trail merge its way safer. Say it's because you dont like it, not because it's safety.
Idk, into disagreeing but give me the truth not some bullshit excuse. If you knew anything about safety you wouldn't have been into the old setup. I get it, we got bombs to throw and runs to open. Mad respect to ski patrol but damn.
Hell, i back bladed and tilled withing 3-4 inches of a slow sign they left up twice to throw em a bone. Fuck that. I don't even take breaks. I was going full sticks all night to get the parks revuilt groomed, and some new shit for the kids for the holiday. If your going to be a cunt, at least be honest.
Just more bummed about the bullshit reasons than having to doze or change features. That shit happens but be honest. We dont want feature here, i dont want features here, i don't like bowls, idk. But don't lie about safety. Shits super beat.

Might have to just go with one of the local spots that only has indoor heated stuff. I just want somewhere I can drive up to, leave a set of wheels, drop a few tubs and my tv, and hit the road.
But I suck at paperwork type stuff so I was pretty stoked on getting the taxes done. Not super difficult but I'm terrible at that shit.
Finished testing am application on a 2 phase wind farm control system that was 3 years overdue. Took 8 hours of live testing, but knocked it out and pulled in 3 million bucks for the company by finishing it.
Oh and I still managed to ban @WoFlowz and unban him while doing it
