Do you hear "the hum"?

Kept hearing this shit and I couldn't sleep. I'm still kinda freaked out from it... It sounds similar to the sounds used in Paranormal Activity...

The Hum is a generic name for a series of phenomena involving a persistent and invasive low-frequency humming noise not audible to all people. Hums have been reported in various geographical locations. In some cases a source has been located. A Hum on the Big Island of Hawaii, typically related to volcanic action, is heard in locations dozens of miles apart. Local Hawaiians say the Hum is most often heard by men. The Hum is most often described as sounding somewhat like a distant idling diesel engine. Typically, the Hum is difficult to detect with microphones, and its source and nature are hard to localize.

thats weird. i hear this constant ring and i cant hear well out my right ear which makes this ring more fucked up.
hums sound fucked (no pun) but its a nature thing, dont freak out.

I have this extremely loud ringing (white noise-esque) in my ears at all times. It's fucking annoying and makes me wut when people talk.

Only when everything is quiet as fuck, and i'm just focused on somthign spacing out. I get a high pitched ringing in my ears

To everyone saying stuff about ringing ears, thats tinnitus, and can be diagnosed.

This is not tinnitus.

It's like a low rumbling sound that can be heard in the distance, but its direction can't be pinpointed (at least I couldn't pinpoint it). It seems to come from everywhere, almost like its just emanating from the air... it's strange. But I know it's not in my head, since I plugged my ears and I could no longer hear it.

It seems to start abruptly, and sometimes gradually gets louder until it suddenly stops. Other times, it doesn't get any louder. I've only noticed it at night when everything is quiet.

Semi-related topic, any else ever see like a blue laser type dot dart across their vision when they first step outside of a building at night? Happens to me ever now and then.
