Wow, these skis are perfect, from the materials, shape, and now the topsheet!!! I currently have Armada ARG's and am wondering how similar these are to them? I am not a rocker newbie by any means but i was wondering about the rocker on the pillowfights, On3p seems to state their rocker in a different way than everyone else. They say how far the tips go up, but that includes the tips themselves, i was wondering how much actual rocker they have? Also I am well aware that you have to run fat rockered pow skis long but what size should I get? I have 185cm ARG's, am 150lbs, and 5'10", I ski extremely agressively but my main concern is getting them around on spins and flips, especially bigger spins, and more tech flips, I ski in utah, also they will not see much rail use but i want to be able to skislide some flat bars and spin out (which is the steezest trick on pow skis in the park).... what size do you recommend? Also what topsheet do you like the most? I personally like the fifth one down on the left side, in the 196cm

196 would be too long. idk what sizes these babies come in but between 180 and 185 sounds about right. and also why are you riding pow skis in the park?

We do list things differently, sorry. Because our tip shape and rocker shape are now combined into just a single elliptical curve, we kinda just thought it would be much simpler to show you the length instead of writing out the equations. Those graphics on ever ski page on our website are true to scale if you're trying to figure out how long the rocker length is. For the Pillowfight, offhand I can tell you that the tip rocker is around 80cm... quite a lot.

For sizing, tough call. I'm 5'11 175 on a good day, and I much prefer 196 over 186, but I'm not nearly as tricky as some of the kids riding pow these days - a few 180's and some hucks are about all I do on good days. They do have a mount point thats near center, about 3cm back from true center, and since we're using a thin bamboo core and full width carbon on these guys, they really have an amazingly low swing weight. If I had to choose one, I'd put you on the 186cm... only hesitation being that one of our employees here stomped his first cork 7 on the 196cm. If you think you can do 10cm extra though, I'd say go for it, big skis are just way too much fun in pow.

A 180 is too small, but they come in a 186 which I think is best for me, and you really haven't skied a pow ski i the park? It's the best part of owning a pair of fat skis (besides for deep pow) I dont intend on lapping park all day, but sometimes at the end of day, when everything is tracked out, or on the way down to lunch I like to pop into the park. Nothing personal but do you even ski big pow skis, because it doesn't sound like it?

yeah haha, I have sir francis bacons. sometimes when stuff is tracked out ill do straight airs or 3's but it makes me cry a little bit whenever i take them on boxes or rails. I wouldn't say its the best part of owning fat skis... but thats personal opinion i guess. im not an east coast park rat if thats what you were trying to imply. haha

I mean no disrespect but I am talking about big pow skis (over 130 waist), I ski JJs as my all mountain ski (same waist as your Bacon, but more rocker). Why in the world are you waiting for it to get tracked out to start spinning? The point of me getting pillowfights is because they are easy to spin (relative to their size), and they allow me to do things that other skis cannot. Your bacons dont have much rocker but the ARG's and Pillowfights are actually money on boxes, because you have almost chance of catching, but it does limit the tricks you can throw. I am not saying that I am buying massive pow skis to hit the park but its fun to mess around when the pow is gone or on the way back to the lift. I get them for when we get 1-2 feet of blower pow

I would not be getting them for the sole reason of throwing big spins, but I do want to be able to get them around on backcountry booters. The pillowfights are less than 100 grams heavier than the Line Opus, so they should be fine on bigger spins. They are made for endless pow, but confining them to only days that theirs over three feet should be illegal, I would take them out for anything over 1.5 feet, and they are meant to be a new age pow ski that lets you do things that other skis that fat simply dont

^Same as you dude. 191 Caylors and 191 Wrens will be my most everyday ski next year, 196's will be pow day skis only. I really do wanna get a 186 out just to mess around on it on a sunny slushy park day though, hahaha.

yeah i gotcha, i only have 2 pairs of skis so i ski my bacons on everything outside the park haha. thats why i dont like taking them in the park. i wish i had the money for more skis though haha
