Splitting Gear Talk

to Ginko: +1 for the splitting of gear talk. hard goods and soft goods. needed to be done a while ago i think.

I would suggest hardcore and softcore; hardcore can be about real shit, like skis and outerwear, and then softcore can be about tall tees, sweatshirts and how good your outerwear looks.

but i think that would lead to obvious and easy-to-make troll porn threads.

Im just going to bump this cause with all the change happening I think this would be a good one. Sure it would make us all look like a bunch of HS girls having a fashion forum, but as it is now I rarely go into geartalk because most of the threads are about jibberish.
