completely... I bought seasons 1, 2, and 3 on amazon, have been catching the 4th on demand its so sick. well worth the $$$
wooooo - episode 8 was a banger. seeing gus nervous is weird. the flashback provided depth the show needed to fill in. gus must have been up to some shit in chile back in the day if the mexians wouldnt touch him. either gus was/is connected to the cia or he has sort of shady political past, cant wait to find out more. its sweet how he is from Chile, which was the secret ingredient Jesse was putting in his meth back pre-walt.
Thanks man. Never even thought of letmewatchthis. I'm on episode 3 of the first season and I'm already hooked like a tweeker on meth.
Can't believe ive never watched this show before.
^Word! I did as well. BUT I think they have been showing the vulnerable / weak side of Walt all season. From the very beginning when Gus scares the shit out of them all the way to episode where Walt breaks down to Junior apologizing for being a shitty father. It’s an avenue the writers wanted to explore but ultimately the bad ass don’t give a fuck Walt must return. That said, anything could happen, just my 2c. We don’t know for sure that Walt thinks he will be around for a while… That’s just what he told everyone when asked at the family dinner table.
Another thing is that Gus has never showed much emotion. He slits that dudes neck at the beginning of the season without saying a word, walks into sniper fire, eats poison, etc. During these high pressure moments he always remains so calm. Then you see in the desert scene last episode he is losing it, getting really angry with Walt. That’s out of character for Gus and might be a sign of things to come.
