I just saw this in chairlift diaries maybe 2012/2013 nordica skis...TJ pro model?

well considering the boots dont fit you, I'd take that with a grain of salt.

They changed the top buckle to be less "jank".

The boots fit, and I'll be skiing in them, but I definitely prefer my Nordicas over them.

By Jank I mean it just feels cheap, it also feels really cluttered

neither of them fit properly, My foot is a little too wide for the Dalbello's, and a little too narrow for the Nordicas, I can fit into Dalbellos comfortably with no foot bed in the intuition liner and I have to add padding to the back of the Nordicas along with my Custom foot bed to make them work.
It's not so black and white

and it's different because its for myself, I'm obviously not going to stuff some person with a wide foot in a 98mm boot when they are used to skiing a 101. I came out of race boots for 5 years and got my Spades this year, they packed out to be way to huge, the Dalbello rep happened to come by the shop with a pair of Il Moros in my size and asked if we wanted them for some of us to ride. If these were my personal boots I would have the bumped them and already have at least a few hours of work put into making them fit. Next year I plan on purchasing Patron Pro's, which is based off the 98mm Doby shell, which I will stretch too make them fit right. And again I'll repeat, if someone comes in looking for a boot, I'm not going to just stuff them into anything and rely on stretching the plastic or give them too big of boots. moral of the stoery, you can always make a boot bigger

Not trying to be an ass but according to the nordica rep over here, nordica boots are designed NOT TO PACK OUT. So maybe you just got the boot cause you got a deal. Even with heat molding (which is bs that gaper customers ask for because they are clueless, unless you have intuitions).

I've done it before, dont feel too bad.

All boots will pack ourt, but yes it does sound like he got them too big. And regarding Molding liners, really there is no reason not to do it for every one. Why spend 5 days of possibly pain bedding in the boots, when you can do the same thing in 20mins in a nice warm shop. And to people who will come here to say it makes your liners wear out quicker, yes it will but only by about 5 days, so really its a null point.

so I guess I have a question for you guys and its not really threaworthy

can't really answer that for you without knowing your height, weight, etc., but I have the 182 alpha 1s and I'm 6'2" 170 and although they are stiff, the early rise in the tips make it fairly easy to butter. The ski is also super fast, and sick on jumps. My brother has the recoil, and he loves it, I haven't ridden it though so I can't speak to that.

I really wouldn't let the graphic choice affect the ski you're buying as much as you're weighing it to be.
IMO, the T Hall has a much better graphic than the past couple of years, and it's an infinite times better than the current season's.

Rethink your choices there man, you're selling yourself short.
