Thanks. I just wish it was that simple. If they weren't best friends I could do that with no worries, but since they are, a "backup plan" is essentially impossible. I think I'm just gonna go with my best odds.
z take it from someone who has been around tyrone for quite a while. Its a tarp. She has a history of doing this to people. You know as well as i do if you like her do it but just know that she has quite the history of charming the snake.
I think I've hit a peak in life. If things never really get better than this, I'm pretty sure I'll still be thrilled with life.
Today: Woke up to non stop avy bombing at 7am. Was on the mountain by 8am. Was on like 10th gondi, road trees all morning. Was on gondi 15 going to the top of the mountain, got fresh tracks Twice from the top (this never seems to happen). Paid rent and there is still money in my account. Now working on one ski companies website, have a meeting with the E.Sierra Avalanche Center at 4. Clinics at the ski shop at 6. Working on an Athlete site after that.
My life is fucking awesome right now. All of my work is now in the ski industry. I've been waiting for this for years. It finally happened.
Oh, and Mammoth opens 100% on Friday. FUCKING LOVE IT!
I was just talking to a few of my good friends (who are girls) and they started asking why I don't have a girlfriend. They said I was one of the best looking guys in school and that they didn't understand why I didn't. I told them that I am obviously not good looking since I can't get a girlfriend, and one of them said, "No, it's not because of your looks that you can't get a girlfriend, it's your personality!"
Should I be flattered that they think I'm attractive or should I be worried about my apparently god awful personality?
this one is brutally chilling for me as a teenager still growing up. i'm not even an adult yet and i can already relate to the underlying message of this song. i guess since i left home at age 14 to start boarding school i haven't had the ability to experience a majority of my childhood like i wish i could.
this is a song for late nights by a bonfire. the kind of nights where you look back on your life, on the good times, on the bad times, and while you're so happy to have experienced them, theres always that subtle tone of sadness knowing that things won't ever be like they were ever again. if you listen closely, even the song has a subtle, ominous tone to it that underlies the lyrics.
just embrace wherever you are right now. i'm sure once you move away from where you're currently living you'll be wishing you could go back there well.
Lol I'll miss my friends and family, that's about it. I'm not a city person by any means, let alone suburbs. I'm most comfortable and at peace when I'm in the mountains. Living in a town of 230 people that was kept alive primarily by my university was the best thing that's ever happened to me. It was the first time I have ever felt "at home."
this may sound harsh but aren't you like 17? get over yourself and realize you have a long ass life ahead of you, and yes, life is the longest thing you'll do
haha you guys get so pissed off about what other people post on the internet...
yeah i'm 18 and unlike what spinoza seems to be implying i never said i was dissatisfied with my life. you're telling me i can't feel nostalgic about being younger? i don't think there's anything wrong with that. never said i didn't have a long ass life ahead of me, in fact i never said a thing about my future.
lifes fucking awesome, i apologize for having depression relapses, it's not like i can help it
bloom sent me the wrong size of jacket. so now i have to send it back to them, wait 2 weeks, get them to send me the right size, wait another 2 weeks. this is the first and last time i buy anything online.
Hahahahaha, but really for minnesotans it's welcome news. We were in dire straights for a few days, but everyone's firing the guns back up and the rest of the week is colder so i'm content.
