Guys, Pabst is the best. The dairy queen a block from my house does free blizzards if you bring a pet on Mondays. But not only did he get me free ice cream. We walked right up to the cutest girl there and got me a phone number.

You are going to have a job as a liftie at big sky. They need a ton of people. Also try yellowstone club. You get paid really well, dont do shit all day cause no one skis there, and you get a pass to big sky cause you are not allowed to ski there.
Bridger is going to be mildly difficult getting into due to bozeman and it being a small place with less job openings.
If you are not going to college in bozeman i recomend you live downstairs from me in big sky appartment being the cheapest place to live and the chillest place to live on the mountian. I do not reccomend employee housing.

If you're in school I wouldn't apply at the club, you dont get many ride breaks and you'd spend all of your days off working and not getting to shred. Plus idk if they do part time. But if you work big sky you can hang out with me! I'll be posted at swifty/ramcharger and get to yell at all the liftys who cant figure out how to override anti collision.

I'm dropping to part time soon, so we'll see how it goes. Good to know about the club though! Anti Collision was seriously my entire summer on the gondola, holy shit.

If I work swifty i can take care of it and if its like most dopplemayers hold your blue anti collision then hit you regular reset then if the board clears hit run and watch the chairs to make sure they are moving. If not moving push the chair through and it should work its self out in the clutch or there is most likely a tire low or a belt loose.

He (Lovelace) actually was just in jersey, shaping some boards in asbury park. I've seen one of those in person, although it was for regular footed people going left from what I understand. Being goofy in a land of rights... It's something I want to try though.
Finally being productive and active again. Fell in to a weird cycle of getting faded and being really lazy right when school started. Nothing like a good acid trip to regain perspective.
last_tangoYou must have ended up in moonlight basin which you can ski now with a combo pass, its run by one company now. Big Sky/Moonlight beats out vail on size and is americas largest resort until vail opens up that expansion they are making.
Once Squaw/Alpine are connected, only Whistler will even be able to compete in sure size, I'm pretty sure.

Cute compared to the European monsters that are Les Portes du Soleil and Les Trois Vallees.
Portes is spread over 14 valleys and about 400 square miles (1036 square km) Les Trois is even more massive.
Squaw + Alpine Meadows + White Wolf will end up being something like 6800 or so. As it is, you can skin between the two when there's enough snow and it's already well over 5000.
As for Europe, that's an entirely different thing. America doesn't have an endlessly open backcountry - or at least the Sierra Nevadas dont.

It's really nice to have that, you can visit every resort in Portes du Soleil in a day by using lifts, planning and tremendous speed. I've done it once and it was cool but stressful, I challenge you to it. Including going past the famous La Chavanette "Le Mur Suisse" or at least suffer the humiliation of taking the chairlift down.
I also have friends who did it without lifts and just skinning their way up everything, that took several days at least.
Remember, relax, be yourself, ask the interviewer questions. The most important thing is to be confidant in yourself. A stranger won't believe in you if you don't.
If that doesn't seem to work, just bang the dude during the interview.
