Trying to see if I have negotiating room with AT&T or I am actually getting a "deal"
I was paying about 150.00/month for cable alone-no internet. I had comcast with the old box, and only had showtime and NFL network for add-on channels.
When i moved i threatened to cancel and they gave me a great new package. I had to sign up for a two-year contract, but that's fine because i'll be for two years, and the early cancellation fee is only like 50.00.
I pay 79.99/month and that includes internet, and cable. I get HBO and a few other premium channels, and I have the new X1 box which has a way better interface and allows recording of 4 channels at once. The 79.99 includes everything, including taxes and fees and HD/DVR...all that jazz.

So basically $80 for just cable and no internet with some premium channels?
AT&T is offering me $110 for HD premium channels minus HBO and 45 mps internet speed. I guess thats not a bad deal then.
I'm about to go insane. Whenever I play FIFA 14 the image goes out on the screen because of the HDMI cable. If I go mess with the HDMI input for a couple minutes I can sometimes get it to work. Weird thing is any other game works perfectly and I never have problems with the image
snobunnyyeah exactly. thats when you threaten to cancel. you have to mean it though...i think thats why it worked for me...i meant it.
My dad had to do this with SiriusXM after his rates were hiked up, he didn't even entertain the idea of a better rate, just cancelling. And yeah they gave him his old rate pretty much right away.
NSers with roof racks, do you have keys and locks? Is it worth it? Looking into a rack now, not sure if I should spend the extra on the keys and locks.

My bars came with a specific key to tighten the ends, like a specific lug bolt. My attachments came with built in locks. I would buy locks for your attachments because its a theft deterrent, sure they might be able to get whatever it is off the car but its going to have a big chunk of metal locked to it.

I got locks and keys off ebay. I'm sure they're cheaper on there. Totally worth it I might add. In the end there may have been no one who thought of stealing your gear but it will give you peace of mind.

Locks on all the racks. Always. Gear is also locked when in the rack. Always.
The one time I didn't lock my rack, it was stolen right off my vehicle while I was out making turns.
