.MASSHOLE.Just did a 15 mile bike ride, I have no idea how the guys in the Tour do 100+ kilometer rides at 20-25 mph. That is insane.


Ive been doing 20km rides per day, with a workout in between averaging at ~ 26 km/h
Man the Tour is 3,000+ kilometers, thats unreal

Well it gets better with time. I'm currently doing 25km to work every day (so 50km in total). Takes me an hour per way, but its a great feeling riding around at 5am in the morning when noones out and the sun is rising.

Plus you notice you get faster pretty fast and you can basically eat whatever you want because you have 2h of work-out every day :D

I can't even explain how stoked I was when I moved out of that dorm room. So yeah, it's unbelievably better than living with them, but it's also really lonely... at least they gave me something to look at and listen to. Not saying I want to live with them ever again though!

One of my co-workers bikes to work in the morning, about a 20+ mile ride. It is just a little too far for a newbie biker like me.

I tend to go out around 5:30-6 and do an hour loop of where ever after an hour at the gym. Tomorrow I may go for longer since its the weekend.

But I guess they could easily get pass the rule or law or whatever by having a large one outside of the buldong and no small recycle bins insode the office.

And if it isnt a law im surprised especially with the save the environment trend going on right now.

I can't stand the way NS embeds articles from other websites (powder mag, freeskier, ect). The stupid comments bar at the bottom and giant unnecessary Newschoolers menu bar (ad space) makes it so the article only utilizes like 50% of your screen.

Ive logged over 100km this week, first week of riding, seen a +2 km/h increase already. Ya its definitely nice for the calorie intake. I ride a hybrid and theres a few spots where I unlock the suspension and get some great looks from guys on road bikes.

Just changed the alternator and battery in my car, and it works now. Never done anything like the alternator, but it wasn't bad. Happy it works.
