I finaly did it, I gave up hiding and told my family and close friends that I am an alcoholic. I have taken "breaks" multiple times but never been open and honest about my problems. I went to a Chemical Dependency doctor and got medicine to help with the withdraws and to see how much damage I have done. This week has been the hardest one of my life but realising that I need help and that I am only going to be successful if the people around me are aware of the problem. Everyone says they are proud of me but I still feel ashamed. Going to AA meetings has help with that thus far.

Theres a confrontation on the ice and the hockey moms near me are like "DONT TOUCH! USE YOUR WORDS! BE POLITE!"
it was fucking hilarious. Like yeah kid you tell him! But politely! And don't get a fighting penalty! Such a mom move. I love it.
