Happened to me last year, 2 weeks of constant talking and she decides to leave me a nice wake up message saying her and her previous man still had feelings for eachother. I wasnt that mad since I didnt have the emotional feelings for her but I went to school, got out at noon on a friday and went skiing and even before my friends showed up I was having a damn good time hopping around on the slush.

its only been like a week or two but still felt some fishyness when she kept checking her phone every 5 minutes when we hungout.

Probably the worst feeling in the word is when I take a hard slam on a jump or rail and know somebody else is about to hit the jump. It's so hard to move out of the landing when I can barely breathe from the huge impact I just went through.

Managed to get a 109/100 on my service operations midterm! So fucking stoked because I haven't attended a single lecture in its entirety and thought I was gonna do pretty bad on it. I am definitely that asshole who stresses about doing bad on things but I end up doing very well.

Probably spent about $500+ on gas alone this season. Usually drive about 2 hours to and from skiing along with working the days I don't ski, which means I fill up about 2-3 times a week. About to get oil change #3 or maybe #4 of the season too.

As far as I know you have it for the rest of you live. Its nothing to worry about (50% of all adults in the US have HSV1 (oral-herpes), but many live their live without any symptoms. If you have HSV1 you don't need to tell the girl as long as you don't have any blisters at the time. If you do have one I would wait a while after its gone just to make sure.

If you have HSV-2 (gential herpes). I would get it looked at by a doctor.

Ride the wave man, the best you can do is to look at people who have it way worse than yourself, like a kid who was born with no legs or something. then think how easy your life can be compared to that person. Focus on what you have going good in life and stay humble about it. dont focus on negative

think about it as an opportunity to start a whole new chapter of your life and meet new super awesome people and start new adventures. There's so much to come thats going to be awesome. Your friends and family will always be around for you - though just a bit further - theyre not going anywhere

do yourself a favor and don't get into the habit of self medicating.

Moving is intimidating. I worked in Oregon for 3 months last summer and that was the first real time I ever left my hometown(aside from school which is only like 45 minutes away). It was honestly awesome. I was nervous and definitely had my doubts the weeks before leaving but in hindsight I'm happy I did it. For those kinds of things, you really just need to send it and learn for yourself.

Use the anxiety to your advantage though. Stress can be a good thing. It motivates you at a healthy level (too much though and you can run into trouble). For now you might not feel ready, but make sure that's not just your nerves speaking. Figure out the essentials: housing, transportation and work pretty much. From there you can think about financials and then whatever else you deem important. If you really don't see the ends meeting here, then maybe you aren't ready, and that's totally fine too. Not everyone graduates and skips town the next day, ya know? That said if you have your mind set on this, you absolutely can make it work and still have time to figure it all out.

I could probably make an edit of outtakes and it'd be more entertaining than me actually landing stuff. Missing is when I aired some natural table, landed on a bush, lost a ski, spun around to switch, hit another bush and lost the other ski then did a backflip and landed more or less on my feet. If my ski didn't eject at first I'd have been fine too. Also rentals at Loveland didn't set my bindings right yesterday, so for a while I was just ejecting all over the place. I think they had the binding set too big for my boots. Wish I had the go pro on for that.

Either way, skiing is fun here.
