its the Tunnel Creek slide that happened near stevens pass a few years ago. Huge group that got trapped with some unfortunate fatalities. Makes you think about "What if that was your group of friends?", and there have been numerous occasions i wanted to slap the shit out of some of my buddies for going past the gates at The Canyons without any gear, or saying shit like "its okay dude, i got my gear so you'll be fine."

Yeah it was for our welcome week concert. They do one every year, but this year was the first festival. I go to the University of Nevada-Reno. Like last year Waka Flocka came.

And yeah not sure why they changed it to a festival this year...seems a lot harder than just a concert.
yessir they got the all new BCA Tracker3 kit that comes with a shovel and probe so that might be better, but the DTS Beacon looks like an easier one to get used too.

This is hilarious because it's true. People in gear talk are always saying "go see a bootfitter" but I've had way more success researching and solving my foot/ski boot issues myself. In a proper ski town like Whistler, etc, yes you can find skilled and reputable bootfitters. But if you live in some random city you'll probably just get some minimum wage slave that only goes skiing twice a year and knows less than you would after 15minutes of googling.
