proZachWe got a puppy 3 months ago. She barks, at everything. All day. All night. She shows us as much affection as she does everyone else, but she's pumped about literally everyone. She can run around for hours, hours, and still wake up every 3 hours in the middle of the night, just to play. She's almost house broken, but hates the crate. She can sit, lie down, and stay, but only for treats. She's a brat and needs to chill the fuck out. We have zero free time. But we love her to death and wouldn't trade her for the world

dkirseMy commute to work from Reno to Tahoe City everyday is eating the fuck out of my gas and I've applied to SO MANY jobs in Reno and when I call to follow up on my app/resume drop they all say they're still reviewing them. Ugh.
also, my physical therapist is moving to a different facility and today was my last time having her treat me and i'm so sad. I was like super stoked to work with her up until i can ski again.

HawleywoodTry putting a blanket over the crate. It helps to make it feel like a den for them. When mine was a puppy she started liking it so much she would go in on her own and lie down.
dkirseIt's just frustrating hahaha. Hopefully places will start hiring for the academic year soon, I'm sure nobody is hiring because re-hires come home for the summer and such. But yeah, finding jobs has been a bummer.

And Im not biased lifetime have won a hell of a lot more staying downtown or at GSR its not like I'm especially lucky at the Peppermill. Nor do I even have a good players card there they still give me the blacklivesmatter players card (I got free buffets for life on Tuesdays at Atlantis.)

PeppermillRenoJimmy Johns on Mt Rose Highway is good if that ones full too I always hit it up for a slim before I ski Rose since their cafeteria food sucks.
Dunno what your major is but apparently the Reno public school system has a huge shortage of teachers right now you can always sub on your days off for 90 or so bucks a day I had that job back in 08 it was tight.

anyways, everyone knows Tom left for whatever reasons that i don't want to discuss, but they replace him with this BUM that can't play for shit and doesn't even know the lyrics to the songs
like after Tom left, they basically should have broke up. when the front man of a band leaves u don't try to replace him and they try to still brand themselves as Blink 182

MinggWhat's it like working in a ski shop? My friend referred me to a local one and I'm kind of hesitant working there since last time I worked a ski related job the ride time/hours sucked. Any perks? Anything shitty parts?

PeppermillRenoLearn how to mount skis and get good at that and tuning and you can pick up side $$$ whenever. Useful skill for a ski enthusiast to have.
If it sucks they won't really care if you quit so long as you don't quit in December.
MinggHey guys! Thanks for responding. The guy who referred me unfortunately is only like "yeah it's pretty cool" but is just saying that to get a spot filled. It seems like it would be rad. I'd start in September so I could definitely just try it out for a month or two and if I don't like it, I wouldn't be quitting at an inconvenient time. I am pretty interested in gear, shop work and some of that stuff so getting to learn more about it would be sick! And as long as I have like 4 days to ski per week I would be happy (: Thanks again!
