Replying to Been skiing for 20 years. Buying a snowboard.
Don't hate if you don't like snowboarding, skiing and snowboarding are both WONDERFUL sports, everyone's out on the mountain doing the same thing, having a good time and obtaining that sense of freedom that cannot be obtain anywhere else in the world. So if you're gonna say something negative, shut the fuck up in advance.
I'm 22 years, 6' tall, and 210 lbs. I grew up ski racing, then, like most kids, gravitated towards the freestyle/freeride scene around age 13 or 14. I never really got too deep into the "newschool" scene but still love throwing in one or two park laps a day. I've torn my ACL/Meniscus skiing twice in the last 3 years, doctor says it's full strength, but that is what he said the first time i rehabbed it. So don't get me wrong, skiing is still my passion and i'm not giving it up by any means. I'm just looking into getting a nice snowboard cause it'll have less impact on my right knee seeing that i'm goofy footed (at least that's what the doc. told me, but hell, he's been wrong before.)
Anyways, I really do love snowboarding too, so any suggestions for a solid rockered (or whatever the fuck they are calling) board for someone that is 6 foot and 210 lbs?
thanks!
