147 pages in the 2010-11 Thread. Here start's next season.

Now the season's over, Boston has the cup for the summer, but it's all up for grabs come autumn. Bump it through the slow summer months as transactions occur

I think a lot of it came down to the finals...Boston and Vancouver, there are a lot of members from those 2 general areas, so it blew up.


whereas this year...honestly, LA, nashville, phoenix? I can't imagine too many ns'ers come from those cities

I can't wait until the NJ-PHI game tonight. I hope the momentum carries over to game 3 for the Devils. But like Barry Melrose said, it could easily have been a wake-up call for philly. Let's hope not. GO DEVS

ahahahahahah i remember the foxtrax (sp?) thing on fox!! god, i fucking HATED it, but all of the poser hockey fans (for lack of a better way to put it) were like, omgz!!!11!! that was SOOOO COOOOL!

and I'd like to give a shout out to my boyz in Jersey for pulling it out last night! i didn't get to watch the game, but looking at the times of goals it looks like they fell apart in round two and three, but pulled it out in overtime? that how it went down?

doesnt translate well to tv? Comcast sports network had the highest rating ever for a capitals game during the bruins series

Also, game 7 of the buins/gaps drew 1.32 million viewers which is the highest number for a quaterfinal game since freakin 2000

At this point, I'm pretty goddam certain the Kings are taking the cup this year, if they keep up this kinda ridiculous play.

...As much as I hate to admit it, good for them. The real southern california hockey fans will actually have something to cheer about that doesn't involve Gretzky for once. At the beginning of this season I wouldn't have second guessed the ending with how Lombardi's built that team.

...the scary thing? The fact that they will be keeping pretty much the same team for years to come. Even if they don't win it all this year, that core is going to be around for a looong time, and they're young. They will compete for years.

i said nashville, new york final. we'll see how that pans out. right now it's looking like the kings are the team to beat in the west and the east is still up for grabs. jersey looking pretty solid but i still question how well brodeur will perform when truly tested against teams that can really jam and create traffic. the rangers have moments where they look pretty average and can't get any offense going. philly can definitely win the special teams battle, but they've been awful in their own end with nasty turn overs behind their own net and whatnot.

guess we'll see!

WHL hockey is so fucking fun to watch. Portland and Edmonton in the WHL championship. Pretty sure I'm gonna have to pull a Klazo and divorce from the NHL - if only for the rest of this series.

oh yeah.. series tied at 1-1 coming back down to the garden in Portland. its sold out. 18000 for a junior hockey game. WHAT NOW. i am glad i bought 6 ticks in the club zone for 17 bucks a pop

even with our leading scorer (ty rattie 30 points in 16 games) not playing the hawks were clicking on all cylinders they played their style of game and also had some great goal tending by Mac carruth


now the hawks come back to some home cooking and fans that are ready for crazy to happen.

the hawks want to avenge their loss in the finals last year, and i feel if they play like this and rattie comes back for game 3 and beyond. the hawks will be in a good spot to win the series., but as every one knows its one game at a time.

Yeah Sven Bartschi's a fucking stud dude... Guy played pretty solidly for Calgary in the few games he had, but man he's been lighting it up in Portland like a pro should.

I'd love to be in the Rose Garden for that kinda game. Should be awesome to see, and I wish I could join.

Portland Winterhawks beat the Edemonton Oil kings 4-3 to take a 2-1 series lead
scary win.. as the hawks gave up 3 goals in the third but clamped down for a good win
