So Just now, I finished Portals 2, and I've got to say, it was amazing.
Creepy at times.
Hilarious at times.
Amazing storyline with tons of twists.
Super long.
Crazy hard. Like, some of the tests took ~45 minutes.
The ending is awesome, too.

Probably one of the best games I've played to date. if you don't own it yet, I really recommend that you go buy it as soon as possible and play it.

Ive been thinking about picking it up, but im just wondering if its worth it. like after you beat it is there a multiplayer setting or anything else to the game? i just dont wanna beat it in like a week and then have it collect dust.

should i get it for xbox or pc? i loved playing the last one on my computer but i feel like it could be sweet for xbox too and i don't have a special gaming computer

pretty much it was the exact same as Portal 1. It was not long at ALL, and wasn't that hard either.

I bought it last week. Definitely a sick game. I beat the single player and then played co-op with my brother. I didn't find it to be as hard as people say it was. As soon as you figure out the patterns and kinds of things you need to do to solve the puzzles it all falls into place. I never used google or anything to solve the puzzles. I really hope there's some downloadable content coming, because there's not really anything left to do now that I beat everything.

No, there were definitely some levels that took tons of tries and thought.

The test results came back. It say's you're retarded. We weren't even testing for that.

The entire game was easy; there wasn't a single puzzle I couldn't figure out after 5 minutes of fucking around. Good thing the game lends itself to DLC easily, and good thing Valve is notoriously good at providing DLC. Sucks for those of you who got it for xBox... PC is where it's at.

When and if Valve releases a map editor and allows user-generated content is when there will be a chance of difficult puzzles.

That said, Portal isn't like other games in that it isn't about placing the right shot really quickly, it's about figuring out where to place the shot— more like Rush Hour than Black Ops.

The only troubles I had was in two places between the old chambers, it was mostly just looking for some grey paint to shoot a portal at rather than figuring out a puzzle.

Great game, but definitely not hard or mind-boggling at all, which could be due to being more story-driven than puzzle-oriented, or the fact that so many people had played Portal and knew the mechanics so well.

Still, went in my Top 10.

It's already out:

"Valve has opened the beta to the Portal 2 Authoring Tools, granting everyone access to the tools and gadgets used when making the game.

With these tools, you will be able to create your own single-player and co-operative maps, new character skins, 3D models, as well as new sound effects and music. You’ll have the updated version of Hammer (the Source level editor) at your disposal, in addition to an updated Faceposer and “example maps” for you to build off of.

The beta is a free download for owners of Portal 2 on the PC and it can be found under the “Tools” tab in Steam."

It is a good game although it seems short. The single and multi players didn't take that long imo. I felt like it could have been harder.

I my wisdom teeth pulled so i got it so i would have something to do while i am on pain killers. it is actually pretty fun, nicely polished, good graphics, cool puzzles. its about as good as a game can get without letting you kill things with bullets.
