Online trading programs at risk to a facebook like sabotage?

I think with the cost of technology falling exponentially,  companies like scottrade and online trading sites are eventually going to get sabotaged by something like facebook or napster which essentially provide the same service for free. Anybody else think this is inevitable?

sort of... technology will become so cheap that some kid will fuck over the online brokerage industry by programming a free one to impress a girl, the same way sean parker fucked over the music industry by creating napster, to impress a girl.

eventually robots and computers will replace every service that can be done by a robot, or, a computer, and they will do it for free

i hope so, free trading would be nice. but at the same time i feel like it would completely ruin the stock market.

Why would any smart person put thousands of dollars into a free online trading program? Even if the site was legit, too many people would be sketched out by it and think it was a scam or fraud or something like that. a

yeah if you want to make smart friends, make friends withs jews or germans. if you want really smart friends, make friends with german or swiss jews.... fucking trust me your kids will fucking pwn. asians too especially koreans, have an innate talent invoving electical engeneering and science field that require brute force experimentation
