yeah same hell pattern. you should be able to just drill the 2 front toe holes around the current single hole.

Mine have tip and a tiny bit of tail rocker, edge is completely separated from the ski under foot on the right ski. I love them though. Sad that they can never be replaced.

The tuning shop I know can rebuild any ski to perfect working order, it's sick.  Any edge can be completely replaced, solidly.  One of the veterans there even made legit splitboards out of a snowboard.

Hell yeah, nice setup. I have the Explosiv 2 with the yellow metal 14-DIN 997s. So nice, I sold my 06/06 Legend Pros once I started riding them. One was slightly bent when I got them so I bent the other one, really nice mellow rocker, they're incredible.

I just picked up a pair of the original Expolosivs like yours, just to hang onto for now. At some point they'll get mounted with yellow 997s too, or maybe the new green Pivots...

If you like the Explosive, try out the Dynaster 105 and Blizzard Cochise.

I personally preferred the LP to the explosive, but the explosive is definatly up there in best skis of all time.

They're worth it dude. Especially if they have bindings that you could sell for $30 or something. I paid €100 and €75 for my pairs, with bindings, but would pay more if I really needed them.

maybe so but I work in a shop and get amazing almost unreal deals on skis so 100 bucks would just be more relevant (at least in my mind) for something newer. They are fun as hell and I will buy the next pair maybe, I think there's a thread for some explosiv 3's for sale on TGR, are those the same? I've only ski'd the OG yellow ones. they also had some pretty shitty marker bindings on them which didn't exactly win me over haha
