I didn't nearly pay full price, paid $180 for the surface skis, $250 for the fks, $400 for the halos, griffons were free!

all my friends say that this years halos are gay so whenever they ask me i just say yeah they are...but on the inside i want a pair of this years so fucking bad if i had money id have them.

got some coat hangers from ikea and put these on the wall. the brake on the binding means that it will always push off the wall and roll off, but I got around this by tying close the brake

I'm using the Jmos as a 80%park/20%all-mountain ski, the reason I got 181 FRs is because I had the 171s last season and decided that I needed more length for landings because of the rocker, however since the Jmos have a wider platform, I can have them as a slightly shorter (and therefore lighter) ski but still have the stability on landings that I want.

I get that. How tall at you? I feel like the jmos overlap a bit but you do ski a stupid amount of days and wider park skis are fun!

5'8"...so 181s are kinda a stretch for me for park skis, but with all the rocker it works. Yeah, that was my thinking, the Jefferys are for fresh snow/Utah pow when I go out there (late season), Jmos 80/20 like I said, and FRs are pretty much 100% park. Since I work at a mountain I'm out pretty much all day every day, plus I can store my skis in our office so I can switch them whenever I want. I wasn't worried about overlap.

Overlap makes so much sense when you have overlap.

I know my quiver doesn't overlap and I couldn't care less.

Going from ON3P's narrowest ski to their Their 2nd widest is something I'm going to have to live with. Personally I can't wait to ski my C&Ds.

I am love overlap, and i reallllyyyy understand that other people don't have overlap. Cause you know, its not necessary. But its fun.

Overlap certainly makes sense. That way you can have a ski that can do a few things so you don't have to have a bunch of skis with you on say a day were there's some fresh, but not enough to need powder skis for (say like 5" of fresh), so once it gets tracked out you can still take them to the park. Makes full sense in my mind.

Exactly, we have overlap so it obviously makes sense. But an all mtn ski doesn't really count as overlap. But since you have 2 it does! and thats whats awesome
