hey guys, looking for any reviews or advice on camcorders.

possibly getting this.

i know its no where near a dslr or anything of that type. but for a noob at filming?

Im also buying it with my own money and dont have a ton of money right now.

well its not HD so thats one thing. it says 720p but then on the sony site it says Video Resolution : 720x480/60i so that would be 480i which isnt too hot. http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&catalogId=10551&langId=-1&productId=8198552921666294285#specifications

I guess if your looking in that price range you could go for something like this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/671771-REG/Sanyo_VPC_SH1BK_VPC_SH1_Dual_Camera_Black.html and its 1080i so already you have way better resolution.
