Why does the internet have to be serious. Fuck, lol
So some of the older moe. girls have a booth at festivals called yodeladies, after a moe. song. They give out free everything from candy, sunblock, condoms, toilet paper, tooth brushes, all kinds of stuff. People donate stuff to the booth then they give it out to people for free. IT's pretty cool actually.
The one girl who I don't know was looking for people for a few shifts to chill in the booth at summercamp this weekend. I said I'd be down to help out. This girl a friend of mine, said "don't creep out the girls ;) " to me. I replied saying "I won't creep them out. I'll be really friendly, then when they let there guard down I'll rape them"
girl i don't know "that is a very f-ed up thing to say. You are no longer welcome to volunteer for the yodeladies."
me "Fine. I'll form my own booth and we're gonna start a revolution!"
Got a call from said friend girl a couple minutes ago. Apparently the other girl i don't know works for rape crisis counseling on the side. I thought she was just joking as was I. But apparently she flipped out because I take rape so lightly, lols. SO my friend asked me to apologize which i did, even though she told me what to say.
"Thank you for the offer and for apologizing, but the yodeladies have an
organizational charter that specifically prohibits this kind of thing by
our volunteers."
"Thanks for apologizing. I appreciate it.
FWIW-- You might want to consider appologizing on PT, because I am pretty sure I am not the only one who was offended.
