I'm not saying Mac Miller has made it to the point of being the most well known artist. But he has made it to the point were he isn't an unknown rapper like you said. I don't even give him a year or two, his first album will probably be a flop like Asher Roths'. I don't like him, but he is not an underground artist.

mac miller blows, and i tend to stay away form the genre of rap as a whole, due to the large amount of horrendous shit that the genre holds.

listen to fleet foxes, or local natives instead. that is real music composed of talent and soul.

no offense to you if you like rap, its just not my cup of tea.

he doesn't produce the beats...but yeah I'm with you. the kid has flow and punchlines and although a lot of his songs are pretty superficial he has some thoughtful rhymes as well. It's just his voice...it's really forced. It can work for some people, but I mean when you hear him in interviews and while rapping his voice is totally different...accentwise and everything.

this kid is only popular because he is friends with wiz khalifa...it's not what you know it's who you know and obviously he knows the right people. with that said, i respect the hustle and even though i don't like his music he is making money off doing what he loves (if he loves making repetitive rap songs that we've all heard before).

I like his oldish stuff, I love his newer stuff but I prefer "Finer things" that song hooked on me for some reason, I also like "Poppy" by him. It's really nice he raps that song everytime in concert as a dedication to his grandpa. I shook his hand and he said whaddup man /claim.

I dont like him. Im not a fan of his voice first and second i hate the kids (at least in my school) that listen and go to his concert. There just fags. I remember asking one how the concert was (talking about the music and the performance) and he said it was "so fucking sick, the crowd basically just clam baked the whole place and I got so damn high, and I remember he did that one song from the kids mixtape." I understand there are people like that for all types of music a bands but they just piss me off. Along with his high voice
