im gunna be stoked to buy one of these and have 3 lens's and not need different goggles depending on the light, ill just sell my 3 crowbars and buy these badboys!

Actually, in Australia it's popularly known as a mono-brow. Regardless, they both mean the same thing. Uni = mono = one.

Some guy was selling them in Sell/trade not that long ago, no idea how he got them, but he definitely had them. I dunno if he ever sold them, it would definitely be worth a search (i think he was selling them for like $200), they are soooo sick.

i have been interested in these badboys since i saw them in the 11/12 gear forum. from what i understand is that them coming with 2 lenses is a great possibility, sadly i tihink that is going to jack the price up on them. im really not into paying more then 200 for a goggle but 2 lenses is a good deal for that prices and it is so easy to change lenses at sia it was done in under 30 seconds.

Haha yes just like the I/o's and they are a fraction of what these will retail at. I think they would be to big for my face is my biggest gripe but I will definitely try a pair out.

i personally like the look of the outriggers, its sort of like how you tell oakleys apart.^ also if you go with a black frame and lense it is going to look frameless. i just hope they let you make custom goggs online.

sorry, but I/O's are nowhere near the quality of Splices or even Crowbars.
but $215 MSRP is absolutely absurd for goggles.

well no shit the only difference is the lenses.
and stacked up side by side, Oakleys lenses destroy every other companies. sharper, more durable, (both in antifog and scratch resistance) and they have a much better selection of lens options.

i hate oakley and i hate the prices they charge just to have a giant O logo on everything, but you're paying that price for a reason.

i don't think it's fair to compare a/o frames with the crowbars, splices and now the airbrakes. those goggles are in two completely different classes. i've had smith, spy, electric and oakley goggles. in my opinion, oakley blows the competition out of the water. though i definitely have to agree that their prices are ridiculous and even $150 is way too much to be asking for some polyurethane plastic and a spherical lens.

and i think the other goggles you are thinking of are the Dragon Rouges. i very well could be wrong though.

1. Oakley uses a Toric lens: not a spherical lens.  Toric lenses give a much better balance of optics & the bubble look that you get w/ spherical lens.  Toric lenses have different base curves where spheres have the same curve. 
2. AirBrake uses switchlock technology for the quick lens release.  We spent almost 2 years developing, protoyping, & testing theses goggles: numerous iterations.  If you were at SIA, you saw many of our ealry protoypes. 
3.  There are many uniques features AirBrake has that most other do not.  There is a rigid front frame, a mnodular soft back frame.  Verturi air ports to suck out any hot air inside the goggle as soon as you start rididng.  There are a lot of parts in AB.  They are subtly placed though so as not to look so busy.
4.AB will come w/ 2 lenses & a hard carrying case for the goggle & lenses.

These are some of the reasons that we charge what we charge.

and lose my job?  these goggles will be available july.  if you run into me at the slopes after july, then maybe i can.

Typically we test in Whistler, Park City, & Mammoth...look for the group with all Oakley gear.

there will be numerous combos for the lenses: hi intensity yellow,perssimon,  pink iridium, vr28, g30, fire and/or blue iridium, etc...my favs are hi yellow & blue iridium

one other thing about AB.  As an accesory, we intrdouced 2 new Banditos that are invividually unique to Splice & to AB.  The have hard pcs that snap onto the frame & the bandito drapes down.  The banditos have flaps you can open to get freash air, smoke, drink, etc without taking off the bandito or your goggle....just an fyi

Yes, I know Newschoolers is based out of Montreal, I was born and raised there for half my childhood. I was just waiting for someone to understand my reference with the "This is America... Greatest Country on Earth".

But since nobody's cool enough to get it, it's from Will Ferrell in "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby".

These goggles look sweet, better than I/Os looks-wise in my opinion and most likely way better performance-wise.
