i got my first ticket tonight. i was driving drunk but the officer didnt notice. he just wanted to know why i kept crossing the double yellow lines. me and my friend managed to talk our way outta any serious trouble. in fact i got away with just a driving past 9 violation (im 17 and only have my junior license). anybody know if i can get off without paying any fine? any stories? help a brother out.

how late past 9 was it? You could go to court and say you were on your way home but you got caught up for some reason.

In NY if you get a DWI you are fucked for like 5 years and if you get one after that you are fucked for life.

wow you're a beginner driver and you're driving drunk? thats not something to be proud of. just pay the fine, and be thankful you only got fined for driving after 9 because you deserve a lot worse.

usually I say fight any ticket as hard as you can cuz they usually are loads of shit but your a fuckin moron for driving drunk. you deserve worse and that cop is just as bad for not figuring it out and giving you the DUI. so pay your fine and DON't drive drunk ass-hole I guarentee if you keep this behaviour up you WILL hurt someone and it might not be you
