If you have a mac then you shouldnt worry about it, and if you do have it on a mac dont use norton anti virus, theres another software. Do a google search.

Spyware Search & Destroy seems to work pretty well.. As for getting them through AIM, tell your friend to turn direct connections off or just don't accept them.

VERY nice tool to get rid of spyware! Very effective and even has information on different spy-cookies etc.

Finds EVERYTHING that you can't find yourself. Tells you about all the startup programs and proccesses. Scan your harddrive and post a logfile on a computer-admin forum to be told what to remove. Don't try to remove stuff yourself or you risk messing up windows.

''Kazaabegone'' - Click Here -
When you have uninstalled Kazaa, which I urge you to do 'cause it's PACKED with annoying spyware. Anyway, when you have uninstalled, run this program to remove all the rests.
