Pop onto the rail. Begin the 90 degree rotation. Wide stance. Front foot slightly digging in with the inside edge. Little pressure leaning towards the front. Look at the end of the rail.

i always get sketched out when rails are high but then when i hit them they never seem as high as they look. and i talk to myself on the rail to distract myself

doing lip side jump ons, like if youre right foot forward jump from left side, is easier for me. it makes more sense too. the other way is gross feeling and awkward and i dont like it one bit.

ahha yeah being the girl with the boys who can do cork nines and dub fronts in the park is intimidating....hitting a rail seemed like baby food for them. so yes, i do feel your pain. I ended up yesterday going to mountain creek and landing a 1 on a jump and hitting a rail kinda ride on and got it, i mean it was the full rail. i just need to keep on moving up ! ahha i came off switch a few times too! now its time for em to step up my game and stop getting scared, so i can hit some more serious rails ! thaaanks so much girl.... need more of you around super helpful and stuff :)
