Yes, go longer to the 181, the rocker shortens the running length and they wont feel as long, trust me.

On the off chance I manage to scratch up the cash, should I go with the 171 or 181 Jeronimo for my go-to everyday ski, park inclusive? (I like more width underfoot, even on hardpack, especially in the park)

I'm 5'9 1/2", 137 lbs.

awesome. this reminds me of my gym teacher in middle school. he was talking to my friends dad. we both had him and didnt know it was my friends dad, started talking about how much he hates kids and really wants to punch them all in the face. awesome guy.

You are like right on the line, but if I had to choose... I'd go for a 181 because I tend to like having more ski under me, especially for all mountain.

LOL! The guy that was doing my instructor evaluation asked me what I wanted to do when I finished the course. I told him "Nothing that involves teaching kids". He still gave me my certification.

I'm tempted to get some Blue Steels. I just don't know what size to get. I'm 5'11" if that helps. I also want some T-Halls though so it's a BS (Nice acronym) vs TH choice now. Thoughts?

Preorders this year are going to take place earlier than last year, and will run for a shorter amount of time as well. The deals here are better than the presale will be, by about a hundred bucks.

Just using these for park. I already have AM and pow skis. I kind of feel like supporting a small(er) company though. I think I'll go with the Steelies then. I'm still torn 60/40 percent tough. Guess I gotta make up my mind soon! Before they're gone!

There is a lot of work that goes into each and every pair of skis on3p pumps out. These aren't some chinese factory pressed hunks of metal, plastic, bamboo, foam, etc.

i've seen enough people asking that I thought i would chime in here about the J-Mo's and sizing.  I am 5"7' 150# and ride the 181 Jeronimo's.  The ski rides shorter than 181 due to the rocker, and I wouldn't want ot ride the 171 after tearing around on the 181.  The skis have a lot of energy and want to go fast.  They aren't charging skis like the Wrens, and so aren't prone to bucking you or bringing you along for the ride if you try to hold them back.  Rather, the skis will simply come alive when you give them full reign.

  Unless you are a lightweight, I would think that the 171 would be a bit too short and would sacrifice stability at speed and/or on larger jumps.  If you're going for a one ski quiver, then 181 is definitely the way to go.  The bamboo core gives the skis energy and plenty of snap, crackle, pop for the park.  Though if you are going to ride park with them, Please please please detune your edges first, unless you want to watch a flat box deflower your investment in some wonderful skis.

I compared the ON3P sale prices to the BC.com sale prices, and they were about the same, but if Keeping a chinesse kid employed is worth spending the extra $20 for a ski by all means head overt BC.com
