Seeding is over!

Its time for the elimination round. All entrants who made it into the first round of seeding have been notified, and now have until EXACTLY 11:59pm on Monday, March 8th to edit their video.

Make sure as spectators to tune in on the 9th to vote for your favorites in the elimination pairs.

Congrats to all of those who opened up the seeding round with huge levels of talent, this is certainly going to be a hot contest!

i like it too, except that antoine and chris t are against haha and i dont know which one to pick.... but the only point is we will never know the average, so Salomon can decide each round who they want to see on the nxt round...

Its only the final 4 that are judged rounds, these initial rounds are all voted on by the community. So its up to you guys!

Antoine and Chris are in a tricky spot... you see the seeding of the elimination tree came from the votes received in the seeding round. The way it works is that in the seeding round, everyone rates videos on a 1-10 scale. When voting closes, only the top 16 make it through to the elimination bracket.

Then, based on seeding ranking, the first place guy goes against the 16th, the second against 15th, 3rd against 14th and so on. Thusly ensuring that the people who did really well in the seeding round don't eliminate each other.

Antoine and Chris since they're in the middle of the bracket, probably placed very close to each other. So they have very equal skill levels (as voted on by you guys) and thusly have a tricky round!

May the best skier win - I for one am really excited to see how it turns out!

Yeah i know, its more like a contest that u need to know a lot of people who has a ns account. But its nice. Antoine and christ have different style and skills. I just hope they will go on the 3rd round or 4th but oh well. Good luck to everyone one.
