Northern VT: Where to buy a pass?

I will be at UVM next winter and I am having trouble deciding where to ski. Stowe has free shuttle buses every day so I will definitely get a pass there.
But How do Jay, Sugarbush, and Smuggs compare? Park is more important to me than trees or powder.

well you should worry about trees and over-all riding because no one really likes a park rat thats old shit, Sugarbush has some amazing skiing all around, great trees
I live in Dirty Jersey. I curse... a lot. I say -yo- and I say it often. I sure as hell dont pump my own gas. I know a bagel is much more than a fuckin roll with a hole in the middle. I judge people by what exit they live off the parkway. I can navigate a circle... with attitude. Two words-- mother fucker. I dont go to the beach, I go down the shore. I know that 65 mph really means 80. When someone cuts me off, they get the finger... and they expect it. I ride ice and i dont mind, 6 inches of snow is heaven for me. Im a Jersey Kid..

yea man the northern part of VT isn't known for there parks, all of them concentrate on woods skiing/moguls. Sugarbush is the mtn I'd recommend getting a pass from or Jay Peak cuz they get more snow than most other mountains in VT. (350 inches something like that) Usually when it's raining is the southern part its snowing at Jay Peak

yo I'm the prez of the ski and snowboard club at UVM. It wad down the tubes for a couple years but we are deff on the up and up.
Anyway, I can tell you that the majority of kids get passes to Stowe, then a lot of kids have Jay passes, good number of Sugarbush and not many have smuggs passes. If your into park more than pow and trees (your missing out) then Sugarbush or Jay have better parks than Stowe's.
For all around I am a Stowe advocate, but everyone has different opinions. One other benebfit to Stowe is that a lot of kids get passes there so its easier to find a ride.
The ski and snowboard club runs buses to sugarbush and stowe on the weekends 2nd semester. Like saturday a bus would go to stowe and sunday to sugarbush, then the next sat it would go to sugarbush and then stowe on sunday.
If you got questions drop me an line.

jay peak has like the second worst weather on earth. windchills are often 50-70 below, and wow does that ruin skiing. they dont have a park that i would write home about. sugarbush, they had a nice jump, they were lacking in the rails, but the bush has some nice skiing. stowe is full of cocky 12 year olds, but they got some nice bc, smuggs has the best pipe in vermont in my opinion, its 17 feet not 18. they got a sick big air booter too, and a few nice jumps and rails on the practice slope. jay is usually too cold and lacks a park, stowe is for cocky rich people, the bush has some nice trails and ok park, smuggs has dope trees(if u know wehre to go) and dope park AND amazing pipe,

thanks for all the responses, keep them coming,
Who has the most consistent good tables over 35ft? Sugarbush vs smuggs? who has better all around park?
Seeing as I am coming from Bristol Mountain, NY, I am not used to things other than a crappy ice park, I like other skiing too so dont worry.

there's lots of good stuff going on at sugarbush, including a 'park only' pass, sponsorship by SIVER and LINE, exclusive lift for the park in the Sunny D double area, and sicker jumps with a terrain park staff. if anyone o nhere reads this and is closely tied to sugarbush and knows more rock solid details....respond...thanks

Mad river is far away from UVM and doesnt have a good park.... Jay is the best for a college student, sugarbush is disgustingly expensive, smuggs has a bus that runs from UVM is a good price but their park isnt good at all, however their pipe is better then jay and sugarbush and backbowls are awesome

lift tickects dont matter to me, i will buy a season pass to stowe for sure, hopefully park pass to sugarbush? and is bolton valley really worth anything? I talked to a rep from there who was trying to say they had a huge table and it was only 30ft haha. also is it worth getting a pass to smuggs just for a good pipe?

jay has the best snow and their park this year was way better than stowe but they diddnt have a pipe. The crowds and attitude at stowe can be a drag but the hike to stuff makes up for it. If youre not going to have a car stowe is much easier to get to.
