Lightest bindings out there???

I'm looking to buy some new bindings but first i want to knoe the lightest bindings out ther. But i still want them to be tought. Any advice???

Yea i have tje rossis 120 and there way too heavy i got afterbangs and they way like 10pounds with he bindings

1. go to gym
2. work out legs
3. stop being a pussy, they are park skis, binding weight has very little effect once you are actually riding

personally I would never ride the squired. Maybe if you were 130 pounds or so... but work out your legs when you are riding the weight of you binding doesn't have any difference because it is directly underneath you so it does have any impact on your swing weight IMO

Yeah the squires are super light, but binding weight shouldn't make a big difference at all. Don't buy bindings based on their weight.

This, if you want a setup that is light in the air, get a ski with a low swingweight, i actually like a heavy binding because i can feel where my skis are all the time in the air. But if you want the lightest bindings ever, get some dynafits!1!!!!

Binding weight has absolutely zero effect on your skiing. The only time you will notice binding weight is when you are carrying your skis.

Those toe peices both suck major ass. They prerelease and are really easy to break. If you go fks get the old 155's or the 180/185's those are both bomber bindings. If you don't like fks's for some reason, check out the head mojo/4frnt deadbolt series/tyrolia peaks.

If you're looking for a light binding the deadbolt 18 is one of the last things you'd want, though I think it is one of the lighter 18 din bindings out there. However, since you're 14 and 5'5" this would be a really shitty binding for you. You only need a binding that goes up to 10 or 12 din. I'm 6'2" and I don't need a binding that goes past 12 or 14.

word, ive broken my break on my 1st gen griffins but besides that they have been perfect. im 130+ lbs and when i got them i was probabley like 100 haha though so they havent had a whole lot of strain. might try the squires because i can get them at employee pricing and i dont think ill break them.

ductape, very smart idea, just grab some sneakers, some ductape, and you will be droping doubles like a boss.

...also I saw some idoit try to sell skis with bindings with no brakes on them, he said they were light.. sorta dumb, but light weight

i picked up some quires for my powder setup this year completely based on price and i haven't had a problem yet. They are super light and they've been just as durable as any binding I've had. I've got 40 days on them in all sorts of conditions so far and haven't had a second thought.

well, it does make a bit of difference if you ever try to jump, but that is about it, and unless the weight difference is huge, you probably wont notice. but if you are trying to get onto that super high rail, and you pop with all your might and miss by a few cm, know that with lighter bindings you could have done it.

you wont feel the difference at all while skiing.....


ski+binding + boots is already a huge weight, i seriously don't believe that you're gonna feel a 200g difference ....
