basicly its about a ukrainian kid who got evacuated from pripyat which is the town right next to the chernobyl power plant, which is the level called "bloc" in call of duty 4, when he was 10 and he comes back 25 years later and goes back to his apartment, and finds the rubber ball he used to play with as a kid still there... 25 years later... its pretty moving.
its sad cause i think they are going to tear down pripyat, i dont know why america and other countries always feel the need to tear shit down that gets old.
I know theres alot of fans on ns of cool abandoned ruins, i guess this thread is pretty pointless other than to say i think it sucks that these things get torn down... white horse was on hbo on demand for a while and won alot of awards.... another cool website for that kind of shit is englishrussia.com, they show all sorts of cool soviet abandoned shit, like ski resorts, and even whole towns
