Canon EOS Digital Rebel

I have one, it's real nice. Other people will tell you to get a d30 or d60 instead. Whatever, I have one and like it a lot. Look in my profile for pictures taken with it.

got it, use it, like it. not a big fan of the metering, but i'm beginning to conquer that with AE lock.......

if you've got the $$$$, get a 10D. otherwise, it's a good entry into the canon digital line. make sure you do you're homework though, so you're not angry if it doesn't have something you need. look breifly at the 10D and the nikon D70 as well......

also depends if you have canon lenses yet.......

anyway, what are you looking to spend for the whole setup? (camera, lens(es), battery, CF card)

btw, i'd personally go and buy it off of ebay. just make sure you're dealing with a seller with good feed back. i'd probably only buy the battery and CF card new if i had to do it again, save a couple hundred bucks.....

and don't get the EF-S 18-55mm.... it's a decent lens optically, but i've used it for 2 photos in since i've had it. my 28-105 USM II is much better for most everything.

talk to stevexs2, he also knows his camera gear well. and get in the photo cult.
