Poles?

So I am cutting down some old poles I got from my neighbor to be used for park. Any recommendations on size? I don't like them ridiculously short, and I am 6'2". Thanks

cut them bigger than you think you might want them because you can always shorten them.

the height you want
just cut them, put the grips back on, and see if you like them
if not, cut them shorter

also keep in mind that they will be a bit shorter when your skiing because the picks will go in the snow. so to get the actual length that they will seem. flip the poles around and hold them just under the baskets.

Im 6'1'' and mine are 26 inches and those are as short as I would ever go. When Im fully standing in my skis the very bottoms of the poles barely touch the ground

no way. i'm 5'10" and mine are 36. 26 inches isn't even a pole haha. but what do we need the extra length for anyway right?

I'm 5'8-9ish and my park poles are 34in. I would make them 1-2in bigger if i could.

Flip them over and grab it beneath the basket. Now make it so that your elbows are right in between a 90 and 180 degree angle.
